REAL CACAO FROM BOCAS DEL TORO

Our cacao comes from Bocas del Toro, Panama — a tropical region internationally celebrated for its exceptional quality and distinctive flavor. Ranked among the Top 50 best cacaos in the world, it is grown by small-scale local and Indigenous Ngäbe-Buglé and Naso farmers.

Cultivated in biodiverse agroforestry systems, shaded by plátano, papaya, and native rainforest trees, this cacao develops a rich aroma and smooth, balanced taste.
Bocas del Toro is defined not by a single variety, but by a beautiful mix of Criollo, Trinitario, and locally adapted hybrid cacaos.
• Criollo is prized for its delicate flavor and premium quality, though it is more sensitive and less productive.
• Trinitario, a natural hybrid of Criollo and Forastero, offers a harmonious balance of flavor, resilience, and yield.
